Verba

VERBA was created by Latvian jewelry designer Anna Fanigina.

Anna was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and raised and educated in Latvia. She graduated from the University of Latvia with a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and from Riga Applied Art College as a metal designer. As a designer, Anna has participated in art exhibitions in Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Germany, and Italy. With her brand VERBA, she has taken part in international fairs in France, Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands.

She is a prizewinner of Latvian design contests and the jewelry arts contest “Fabergé” in Finland. As part of Venice Design Week, Anna received the special prize “Polo Museale del Veneto” from the National Archaeological Museum of Adria for continuing antique traditions. She was also the winner of the INSTRUMENTA DESIGN 2020 contest in Venice, Italy.

Anna’s design works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Riga.
